The team at Element Optics all have a different story for how their craving to blast stuff came about but one common denominator preceded all of them: A deep passion for the outdoors, a desire to do better and an addiction to the kick of a recoiling rifle. All of their passion led to hard work, commitment, growth, expertise and perfection.

The team as brought together by Fredrik Axelsson, the president of one of the world’s most successful and innovative PCP airgun manufacturers, FX. Fredrik approached Ted Bier and Matt Dubber with a proposition to start an optics company – as his quality FX rifles needed quality riflescopes. Ted was a man expertly understood the technical complexities of long-range precision shooting whilst Matt was someone who had experience in the long-range centerfire world meaning he knew about external ballistics and the importance of high-BC projectiles. The team increased through the introduction of Shane Kellar, someone with optic making experience and success. The final ember of thew successful team is Johan Axelsson, the son of Fredrik, a technically-astute, incredibly intelligent designer who’s responsible for many of the recent innovations and advancements in the FX Airguns camp.
